LAN is not dying on me. Chronos and Tigereye are both not on fire. Subnet masks are same. Should be on same subnet.

I can ping Chronos. Chronos can ping me. Just, Chronos can not get out on the web.

Make sure your default gateway is set up correctly. If the two machines are on the same subnet, you get your subnet routing for free. But if the default gateway isn't set up, you'll get the behaviour you're seeing.
