...Naomi is ten now. Maybe she'll be old enough to have a job by the time I graduate. It wasn't so long ago that she was six or seven.

I had noticed her language becoming more eloquent and fluid. I had attributed it to simply being socialized now that she's not in hiding...never occurred to me that separate personalities could grow up at different rates of speed. Odd blindspot, that.

Personality-age I see as independant from body-age. I know a person (whose name I'm not going to mention publicly) who went into stasis for a decade, and is now ... hmm ... about five to seven years younger in personality than their actual body-age. They accomplished about two years of growth in two months, at one point, which was agonizinly painful, and very interesting to watch.
