I have figured out the Secret Code: "I'm crashing now" means, really, that you're going to be up for the next hour doing all the stuff that you need to do before bedtime really hits.

Yep. Same goes for me.
I even employ the 15-minute "almost ready" quite often while working on the computer.

No, sometimes it's well past one hour. Plus, I find that it is oftened consumed by tasks with no productive result whatsoever.

well truly Azurelunatic, your comment about time to crash , well right after i finsh this paperwork and do some house keeping damage coontrol is all telling . im traditionally a nite owl however i appreciate others ability to say im tired and im going to bed , and then they do
im really pleased to find a group of poly community as well as insomniacs , nite owls , liberated, and i plan to learn as much and participate as much as i can , hoping i will fit in some how tho im in washington /
