Caught her at it again. Evidently she has a little nest in a box up there, and she's climbing my shirts to get to the box so she can curl up.

My mother had a linen cupboard. I say 'had' because the cat now sleeps there, and has done for years. She had to throw out the linen he was sleeping on, eventually, because it got so hairy and horrible. Now he gets old blankets and stuff, replaced every so often when they look like they're about to get up and walk away on their own.

It's his safe place - the other cat can't attack him there, since it can't jump for shit (it lost its tail before we got it).
