They've formed a division in Italy.
They went for the obvious company name and that's how they registered their new domain.

I don't think that's the same company as PowerGen here. It seems to be someone specialising in industrial batteries.

PowerGen here are an electricity generator and distributor. They own power stations and power lines and stuff.
