Chocolate (my standards)

  • I enjoy milk chocolate.

  • I enjoy dark chocolate.

  • I do not enjoy white chocolate except as part of something else. It is not "chocolate". It is ... ... not chocolate.

  • Chocolate does not contain ground nuts.
    • It may, however, contain whole or partial nuts, in pieces large enough for me to distinguish from the rest of the chocolate.
  • Chocolate does contain real vanilla.

I agree with everything except the nuts...nuts have NO place in chocolate (or brownies for that matter!!)

I must say that I enjoy the chocolate as well.

(and white chocolate is wrong)

Heh, I am opposite of you about nuts. I *adore* gianduja, but strongly dislike the nut style of crunchy. It ruins the texture.

Agree with you about white chocolate though. White chocolate is a convenient coating for things that need a hard coating to keep them together and don't go well with chocolate, but as chocolate, it sux0r.

White "chocolate", even as a confection, is simply hard wax. Wax, with sugar and spice.
