I was chatting with good ol' Shawn last night about the fact that one of our buddies from high school is going to be a father soon.

Shawn: "When are you gonna squeeze one out?"

Gee, Shawn. Your eloquence and tact are an example to us all.

The proper answer, being, of course, "When I find a man worthy of fathering my child who is interested in same, and we're both ready for said responsibility. And not until, thank you very much. DUH, much?"

My actual response: "Aggh, the concept is alien to me!
... Probably not for a long time.
I haven't had sex with a man in nearly a year, and I'm not really missing it.
I don't plan on any kids until I'm done with college, and that won't be for at least a year.
And then after that ... honestly, my roommate's bratling is kid enough for me, unless I happen to marry someone who wants a kid, and the only person I'd consider marrying at this point would probably never marry me."
