Work Summary

Got there on time/early. Worked. Must avoid adding too much of the caffiene to the morning beverage in the future, as the ladies' room and I were having too much to say to each other. Talked briefly to The Anti-Tech Redneck From Hell, a man two years younger than I am. Got 15 minutes break and then we were all dispatched in a generally homeward direction. I went and, as I was feeling less like a used snot-rag, gave plasma. They were showing Kill Bill, which I saw most of, dug, and really dug. TOES! Bwahaha! Whee! I gave one guy The Hairy Eyeball when he asked me, "Isn't this the stupidest movie you've ever seen?" and replied, "No." (If it has neither Jim Carrey nor fart jokes...)

In other news, votania brought home Thin Mints. Mmm, half-baked girlscouts.

I would honestly say that Kill Bill is actually one of the stupidest movies I've ever seen. Mind you, I don't like stupid movies, and therefore don't *watch* stupid movies. So saying Kill Bill is one of the stupidest I've *seen* means it's not *that* stupid.

There is a certain level of leave-your-brain-at-home humor that is acceptable. Most Jim Carrey is *not* in the acceptable level. :)

There have been a number of truly idiotic films inflicted on me. I would say that the horror film where the guy replaces his hand with a chainsaw and its ilk number among them. (Thank you BJ, for spoiling a film I would have probably been convinced to enjoy and hoot at had it not been introduced to me by you...) I think American Pie 2 is one of the most idiotic. I saw that one voluntarily. 3 is much better.

Evil Dead! I liked the one I saw. I never touched any of the American Pie movies, though.

It may be amusing, but it's very dumb.

And if you're watching the American Pie movies at all, skip 2 and just read a synopsis of it if you're curious. Even though it's got plot points in it that are slightly key to #3.
