Sexuality
I grew up as a supposedly-straight female until I was almost 15, when I realized that I was actually bisexual. So I know quite a bit of what bisexual girls go through, personally and socially.
What happens with bisexual males?

the narrow path is sure well-trod!
I was likewise supposedly straight until I realized at 18 that I was really gay. I don't suppose that bisexuals have much different beginnings. They probably go with the culture until one day when they realize (or identify with the fact) that they also like the same sex, but in this case not exclusively. Then there is a new period of self discovery. Perhaps discovering one's own sexual identity is one marker of the transition into adulthood. I mean, the way it is currently set up, it seems that discovering one's self is a path that we are all forced into because we are misled from birth to think of ourselves in a way that is not wholly ours.
By the way, thanks for directing me to GatorGSA.org earlier! :)
Also, you're looking good! Nice fan pic!

Oh, then you get freaks like me. ::grin:: I don't honestly remember a time when I wasn't aware of being bisexual. I never had a girlfriend 'til recently (the past 4 years), but that's more because I'm *shy* about approaching people, and I was only ever approached by males. It doesn't mean I didn't admire and know that I was perfectly happy lusting after females as well as males. Had a crush on my best friend in junior high...but I didn't really want to start a relationship with her 'cause she was a bit of a slut, and that turned me off. We did write some really good porn together, though. ^_^

I just wasn't aware that I could like both and that there was a word for it. If I'd been aware of that, I would have been a lot more ... experimental as an early teen. As it was, I learned that I was bisexual at 14.
