I urge you to stand up against the proposed citizen informant program. Do not allow paranoia to erode the Constitutional rights laid out by this country's planners. Ben Franklin said once that anyone who gives up liberty for security deserves neither.

I don't want to leave my liberty in the hands of some neighbor I don't even know, who might not like my religion, or my style of clothes, or my music, or my cat, or the suncatchers hanging in my window. I don't like going to sleep at night knowing that if someone "suspects I might be a terrorist" I could be held without lawyer, without rights, indefinitely.

I don't want my roommate's son, or my future children, growing up in the kind of country where you have to watch every word you say, any song you sing, any picture you draw, to make sure that it's not suspicious, lest someone suspect you. I don't want to live in fear of anonymous men with badges knocking on my door at night.

Restore our constitution to us. Restore life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Give me back my country.

truth be told... as history has shown us, great empires rise, we've witnessed that in this country... what they try to make you forget about is that with every rise comes a fall... I'm praying we can change history cause the way things look now...it's not pretty.
