Darkside
I do talk about him a lot.
We chatted about the stuff he was finding on the internet, and about what happened to the Yule gifts he gave... my tape might be salvageable, maybe. I'm hoping.
It was just a good old time, fun between friends. I locked myself into my bathroom and didn't come out for half an hour, at the end of the conversation, and only finally emerged when Darkside realized he had to go to sleep at some point.
It was sweet, just the two of us alone in the dark. I miss our early morning conversations.
Whenever I get into a conversation on the phone with Darkside, we wind up talking until one or the other of us has some very solid reason to get off the phone. This time, he needed to sleep.
I invited him to visit sometime this week, and gave him my schedule. He might. He just might.
