Invent-a-memory meme mutation

Invent a memory of me and post it in the comments. It can be anything you want, so long as it's something that's never happened. Then, of course, post this to your journal and see what people would like to remember of you, only the universe failed to cooperate in making it happen so they had to make it up instead.

Snitched from [livejournal.com profile] shadesong, who got it from [livejournal.com profile] elynne, who got it from elsewhere off the mutual friends list.

Remember the time we took on the sith, just so you could buy that bottle of grape water?

Remember the time we switched the phone numbers around so folks calling SkyHell customer service got your company? I don't really think that'd work so well at the museum, though... Different phone systems & all....

Could there be any question? Our most memorable moment would *have* to be the time we went nude hot-tubbing with Viggo and Depp, while we were all tipsy. And things got out of hand....

Or at least I *think* it was Depp and Viggo. I'd had an awful lot to drink. Maybe you've got clearer memories of our celebrity partners-in-crime....

(What can I say--I'm a terrible influence but a very good slutbunny. [g])

P.S.: This is the premiere of the "tygerr's-a-slutbunny" icon that the PsychoPixie gave me. It seemed appropriate. Whaddaya think?

Do you remember the time you talked me into a hot baloon ride and we ended up having to take the Greyhound back to Phoenix from Flagstaff because of that freak windstorm?

So, this one time at CTY, Azz and I got really hyped on caffeine and sugar. So then we snuck in to the crafts room and painted ourselves purple! I mean, like our arms, and legs and everything!

The next day, we showed up at breakfast and told everyone we were a pair of grapes.

The memory I treasure the most is how stunned you looked, that day when I knocked on the door. You wore your professional face, the "We're not interested in your product," the "Thank you, but let us have our faith, and we'll let you have yours," the "I only give candy on Halloween" face. I saw you taking in my dress, ruffled as it was after all these hours on a plane, my frizzled hair, my huge backpack and my wide grin. It must've been the grin that did it, because you knew me. There and then, you opened your arms and your home for me.

I had flown all the way to Arizona, in the hope that you would take me in.

Of course, that wasn't the only reason I was there. It rarely is.

I had packed two suits with knee length skirts, both in somber colours, and shiny, glittery, colourful tops. (Everything goes with a black suit!) I would be more or less forced into the suits during the medical technology conference, where I was giving a lecture.

I wonder, sometimes, if you ever can forgive me for surprising you like that, but any lingering resentment you might feel is a small price for seeing you shocked out of your shoes like that.
