Mon, March 11
[Guide Dog Aunt and her family] are here. They got here Saturday, at 11 pm. This is their second day, and already Jane has figured out how to drive the Saab. [Guide Dog Aunt] keeps stalling it, and she can't get it up icy hills, regardless of snow tires. We are waiting to meet swallowtayle, Randall, Mama, and [Guide Dog Uncle]. Now we don't know what to do, go back, stay, or go on.

The party we were waiting to meet had been skiing or hiking from our house to the Musk Ox Farm, and Guide Dog Aunt had been trying to get up the easy side of Miller Hill on Yankovitch. It was evidently not that easy for the poor California driver.

We were late, so we weren't sure if the party had gotten there and left already, or if they were still en route.

It turned out that they had gotten delayed, and they did show up, but until they did, we were being cold in the car. Cousin Kevin was with us. I think my father was at work.
