I think I still prefer my father's home cooking. (And if I were to fly up home to get some home cooking, I'd definitely need the money...) Imagine... London Broil sliced in thin strips, marinated in classic Mongolian Barbecue sauce, and grilled outside, brushed with more sauce, then served over rice... mmm...



Five other people total, or five other people besides Darkside and myself? Because he would so be there. I'd pick Dr. Bob (KL7AM, a really interesting guy from home with a bunch of amazing stories) and his wife and/or his late wife, Einstein (and a guest of his choice as I'm not acquainted with his personal life), Feynman and his wife (or wives, his choice), Isaac Asimov and his wife, and Admiral Grace Hopper and a companion.

Hey, if you want a proper dinner party, you need to do it properly... and it would be an interesting conversation, that's for sure. I don't know as I'd be comfortable at first in such company, but I would guess that the atmosphere would turn from cordial into a downright convention-like party somewhere into the first course.
