Day

Read for a while in the morning. Tried to nap. She got the new job, yay of all possible yays! The co-workers seem promising too. The commute is t3h sux0r, though.

Went, gave plasma. Finished up Memory & Dream, Charles DeLint. Why have I not read his stuff before? Because I was mostly staying out of fantasy, that's why.

Evidently I am more of a control freak over the LAN than I thought I was. *ponders* Hmm, perhaps it's time to go 'head and hit Fry's for that mofo. ("that mofo" being the router.)

Charles DeLint's stuff, espectially the Newford stories, is my all-time-favorite.

i like the fact that it is now considered "mythic fiction" instead of "urban fantasy".

you can find alot of extra bits and tie-in stuff here:

you should really like some of the stuff on that site, then.

i keep saying that if i ever decide to focus on writing again, i'll feel like i "made it" when i am on their recommended reading list.

if you want, let me know which parts of his story drew you in the most, and i can prolly tell you which of the books/stories to check out next. i've only read them all about 50 times each. heh.
