*snarls incoherently*

"step-o-meter"??

*makes with the smackdown*

Edit:
If anyone has the current 800 number for McDonald's, the one that's actually not giving a 404 error, could they please share? Also, their web contact form gives run-time errors.

Edit again:
That time I got through. Bloody idiots. Bloody freaking idiots. Gave feedback that calling a perfectly good pedometer a "step-o-meter" made me sick, and furthermore, when I asked about it at an actual resturant, the person there did not understand what I was talking about.

I've got a pedometer that I've had for years. Reliable, tough, and accurate as far as I can tell.

The only thing I can't tell is how the darn thing works. I mean, how can it count each step, and only the steps? It's not on my leg, after all, but my belt, and that area moves around quite a bit, with bending, twisting, and other activities as well. Amazing gizmo.

I got one of the Adult Happy Meals at McD's the other day. The manager told me that I was the first one to order one at his store. Ever.

I actually wasn't surprised. The in-store advertising didn't make it very clear that the meal came with a pedometer, and the meal costs a penny more than the salad and water that it includes.

Yes, but they did pre-advertise it fairly well, at least around here.
