Pop-up ads, I can live with.

Run-time errors, I can live with.

When a pop-up ad from a lyrics site (let's sing it dot com, in some mangled form) has a run-time error, and furthermore has to be closed with Task Manager... let's just say I dislike CelebrityWonder.com with a vengeance.

You should download and install Webwasher (http://www.webwasher.com/). It filters out those nasty pop-ups.
