Remember, you are being graded on your voice and presentation, and you are up for review for your much-needed raise within the week.

LMAO...As a tech, I was unused to phone calls. Picture a veterinary technician, in charge of phones acting as receptionist for an hour....and getting an important call from a vet specialist in a rather prestigious animal cancer animal....

getting this call right after lunch in which you have had a cuban sandwich and a HUGE pepsi...

with the uncontrollable burps...

I am happy in that I did not find out. Also, I was able to play it off well.

But, they do hold you responsible when your voice is dead when you're sick, I've heard...

They weren't monitoring it while I was hiccuping, it turned out, and I managed to pull it off with style and grace and a sense of humor. Yay, me!

I've been there for three months, so I'm due my review and raise. Then I'll be due another around the end of August. It's rare that people actually stay there...
