I really do need to snag myself a copy of the things and have her sit down with that. Maybe in my Demland folder. (Demland: professor who was talking about writing design documents, and shared the IEEE specs on writing specs.)

Most of the time I'm using MIL-STD-498, perhaps for "baby duck syndrome" related reasons, but so what. I've heard people say that 498 is not compatible with OO thinking, but I haven't seen anything that really is. Including OO tools.
