James Bond I'm not.
*looks inquisitively at martini ingredients on web*
*looks up in top of closet*
*tries three drops of vermouth*
Hmm, not bad. Does sort of make my tongue tingle, though.
*tries two drops of gin*
*mouth goes numb for three minutes*
Yowza.
No, somehow I don't think I'm going to start drinking classic dry martinis with any regularity.

There once was a man named McSweeny,
who spilled some gin on his weenie.
Well, just to be couth,
he added vermouth.
And slipped his girl a martini.

*Flavored* martinis, OTOH, are often quite yummy--and generally not made with gin. Green apple, chocolate, all kinds of good stuff.
But then, we know I have a weakness for frilly girlie drinks! ;-)

I can see putting little bits of it into things. Like, maybe, gingerale? To give it a kick? But, as the main ingredient in something... ewww.
Of course, I'll have to have an Actual Martini at some point, made by someone who knows what they're doing.
