hahah its actually not dirty! running a regression means calculating various kinds of statistics about at least two series of data. (For example, a regression would tell you whether height in a population was correlated with birth weight.)
No, no, way back when after CTY, Emmie and I attached all sorts of funky meanings to "Statistics" -- actually, I think it meant pyrogenic -- oh, right, he was a statistic because the last guy I'd fallen for had blue eyes and glasses and messy blond hair and was a bit of a geek. So when we said "Screw statistics!" in math class, it really meant "get down and dirty with pyrogenic".
And you know, the guy I'm in love with now has blond hair, blue eyes, glasses, and is incredibly geeky...
