A while ago, I was screeching about a nameless brain-breaky that was someone else's news, so I could not share it. But it's almost time now.

I'm still waiting on Darkside getting the memo before I release the brain-breaky news.

I have chickened out, and will not be telling him. I'll leave that to Sis. It's her news to tell.

In other, related, news, I'm going to go dig up information on how to register one's clerical (minister, not secretary) skills with the Arizona state government...

You have to register with the *state*? Nobody asked for any paperwork proving who I am when I signed E and J's marriage certificate. Had to list the organization I was affiliated with, I think, but that's all.

Some states you do, some states you don't. Always helps to know which this is beforehand...

Depending on the State you don't have to register yourself. I had an online ordination because there isn't anyone within 150 miles willing to do one for me. I called the County Clerk, who handles that and all she said is that it's too hard for them to track nowadays and they don't require any type of 'registration.' They may want to know what church, if any, you are affiliated with. That's easy because my organization is NFP, so I can use that on all forms.

In this case, the clerk's office says that I just need to be ordained. Which I am.
