Awake again

...I'd been intending to sleep until it was time to go to work. This is, clearly, Not Happening what with the necessity of getting paycheck, going shopping, and probably running other small errands.

My 5:00 am bedtime strikes again, and I'm the one getting the smackdown...

Is it bad of me to feel obliged to stay awake during LJ outages?

Bad? No. Excessive? Probably. There comes this time with any hobby where you need to say "enough" - too much lost sleep makes it time to say that.

Technically, "one hour past my bedtime" sounds better than "until 5 am", although for me, they're the same thing on weeknights.

My roommate just decided to scramble her schedule, so we had to go shopping/on errands today rather than tomorrow.

Hooray for the evening shift at work.
