Days off, unscheduled...
I'm going to have to request a day off in October.
Lunatic's got Jury Duty.
Fear.

you don't have to 'request' a day off. Your employer is required to give you the time off to serve, and this time cannot be held against you.
Ask the HR humanoid at someone else's work, if you're at all worried about the moral or ethical integrity of the management at your place of Ork.

Management's cool. They give me religious holidays off without bother, and I'm so not Christian.
Also, are you

From their little missive:
Courtesy telephones, laptop ports, computer terminals, wireless internet, magazines and movies are available.

Ooh, me too! And I'm officially impressed with where Az lives. My jury duty isn't cool, at least not in the tech-geek way.

It should be very interesting. I've never done this before.
