I have, as part of my Happy Fun Jury Day Preparation Materials, a badge to identify me as being there for official reasons. It says, in a large serifed font, printed vertically, "JUROR BADGE".

Bad fan should not duplicate the A, and paste the duplicate over the J. Should not.

Hmm, wonder if I've got any white stickytab material....

It's paper tearout, and looks like it will wind up pinned on. Everyone in Large Corporate Offices these days seems to be wearing security badges, and I guess courthouses Outside are no different.

Wait 'till you're done with the trial, then make yourself an Auror badge.
If you can't wait 'till then, make sure you enter the courtroom wearing that, and robes. Bonus points if you can pull off a charm on the defense attourney.

It'll be October, so it'll be cooling off --- and I have a lovely, lovely cloak. Dress code is Business Casual. If I can find, somewhere in the depths of something, a long black full skirt that goes to my ankles, and a pale blue blouse with a high collar and puffed sleeves... (And I have a costume-making friend, and if I find fabric and patterns and give her some money for time and labor...)

I wonder if they have a weapons-check facility, so I might safely and soberly hand over a wand where police might be checking guns.

Just remember that nasty little law concerning contempt of court... they don't appreciate such things. As long as you're *careful* though...
Besides, just think of how much that might cheer up any children unfortunate enough to be stuck there for the day.
Do you know what sort of case this is?

I haven't any idea whether I'll be on a case or not. Evidently the vast majority of people aren't on anything long/ongoing; evidently it's mostly just one day and then that's it.
