I like reading your journal because it gives me a sense that a real person is there, typing, living a life, eating, dreaming, going to work and it gives me faith that this whole talking-to-people-on-the-internet business involves other people out there in the world. I'm still hanging fire on the surety of whether it was or wasn't you who called that night. Details are foggily floating back in my brain, and there are some things that are consistent with you, and some things that are consistent with the poor sod living in his mom's basement who got busted for boinking teenage girls. Other than that, though, you're a cool geek and your pictures are awesome. If it weren't for that pesky unresolved issue I'd gladly hang with you.

I'd say that you are a nice guy, except that you are very much not, but that is quite all right, as you are E's. I admire your fierce protectiveness. I probably am closer to you than I am to your wife, which is only understandable given that we've spent more total interaction time than E and I have, though she's reasonably close as well. I'd like to get to know you in person, and I wouldn't have objections if we should get close enough to get really personal (if you know what I mean) pending the approval of my bondmates. I was a lot worried about you earlier with the whole doesn't leave the flat thing, but I think having your wife there is very good for you.

Yep, you're tolerable. You don't have very much self-confidence, but that's improving. You're one of the guys I hang out with late nights on IM. I don't talk with you so much any more as I used to, but that's true of a lot of my old school friends, plus neither of us is as horribly insecure as we used to be. Oddly enough, I don't think I've ever seen your face. Which is kind of weird, because you're my Priestess-Confessor's right-hand chick (or maybe left-hand chick?), and I really should know you face to face as well as online, but that's not really happening just yet because we're totally not in the same state. You're great fun to chat with and you're up at the same time as I am very often. I think I recall someone mentioning once that you were a bit of a pain sometimes, and yeah, I can see that (remember that time you called me by accident instead of your sister?), but you're interesting and fun enough to make up for that.

Nope, I don't think you have seen me. I don't have pictures of myself on LJ, because I don't have any suitable ones available. I've been meaning to fix that for a while now. I think left-hand might not be a bad descriptive, though I'll accept either one. I admit I can be pretty obnoxious, often on purpose but sometimes unintentionally; I have a fairly low interest in the opinions of the vast majority of people. I try to be nicer to my friends than that, but sometimes habit gets the better of me. And I blame the phone for that one! *blush* It was a new one, and I should have known better than to try to call someone without looking at the phone while I was dialing.

Brian was part of your entourage until I stole him. *grin* You're Alpha enough to take charge when needed, hon, but not Alpha enough to gather an entourage. *snicker*

Plus I understand the whole "needing alone-time" thing as well as understanding that needing alone-time now does not mean antisocial and never ever wanting to go out and do things.

Don't get me wrong; I love 'Song dearly. But she and I do much better being *not* local to each other. Although that might have changed over time; I didn't realize I'd react badly to her presence until I was IN it, and if we were local to each other she might gradually drop the extremely annoying veneer and be the 'Song I know but was not allowed to access in person.

I know that a lot of the people that three years ago I was having prickly-hostile reactions to the thought of being in closer contact with, I am now able to handle up close and personal. My water brother comes to mind. Three or so years ago I said that if he and I ever had a serious relationship, one of us would be doing stomping all over the other, and there would be lots of fights. Now, he and I just sort of melt together, and I realize that I don't know him well enough to know what we would actually fight about.

I don't think I've ever fought with any Earths besides my father. And since my Earth has become more prominent over the intervening years, it's going to be ... interesting.

I'll have to ask him (my water brother) if he holds grudges the way I do. Really, it's a coping mechanism rather than an absolute defect. If there's something I can't deal with, or don't know how to deal with, it bothers me until I can deal with it and figure out how to resolve it. And when I brought up the "angstwanker" incident to him, he was able to explain what had happened from his perspective, immediately, and that made everything all better.

As you already know, you are somewhat of a ditz at times, and your math skills are few. But that's OK, because you're nice and fun. You're also a broadcasting empath, which makes it great to be around you when you're having fun, and dreadful to be around you when you're stressed as hell. Work has gotten a lot more interesting, in the good way, since you came. Of all of the work crowd, you are the only one who gets "pastede on yey", which is what my spare time has been lately, argh...
