Been debating this one, but I asked wibbble, so I suppose it would be nice of me to post this in return.

Sometimes I think I'm oversocialized. I'm used to expressing myself in a very restrained fashion, which sometimes comes out as polite little social lies.

You're interesting and odd, and I wonder why you bother to read someone like me. Your art is trippy and not entirely settling to look at. I think of you as "the chick with the Carmen Miranda icon."

Awww. I like reading your journal because it gives me a sense that a real person is there, typing, living a life, eating, dreaming, going to work and it gives me faith that this whole talking-to-people-on-the-internet business involves other people out there in the world. I like your insights and your self-possession. I like how you're really good that making the people around you alive, real characters to wonder about.

It's good to know that my lively banter and observations on life are appreciated. It's my life, and sometimes it's deadly boring, so I try and make it interesting by noticing it.

That bemused pre-bite expression is one of my most common, which is why I used it. I wanted people to see more of an "action face" than I had shown in the past. And thank you most graciously, darlink.
