Feline Bonding Moments

I bathed eris_raven the night before last, and then last night, I sat down with her and a comb, and I removed a lot of the loose fur that she sheds on things. Last night, she was trying to wiggle free.

Today, she sat rippling her fur muscles and arching up at me when I combed her.

Maybe she'll let me do that more often. That would be nice, because she is currently shedding her multicolored pastel fur all over things.

If you are gentle, cats usually do that when you comb them. They like it.

I just have to be sure to do it on her time, rather than when I think she needs it. She takes exception to being caught and combed, or caught and anything.

Last night, she wasn't leaving the West bedroom, so she had to be caught with a towel and ejected. I've never seen her pretty little tail that size before. Nor have I ever heard her hissing so vehemently.

Just remember that home is where the cat hair sticks to everything but the cat.

Most cats like to be combed, at least on their backs and sides.
