WordPerfect 12

One of the things that I adore about this computer? It came with WordPerfect. I grew up on that program. I love it. I adore it. In 1995, I could make that program do all sorts of crazy things. I could practically make it toast you bagels for lunch, or at least format everything sensibly. The one thing that pissed me off was the lack of spellcheck ability on large files. It would crash...

But. Yum.

Mine.

All mine.

The Necromancer's Prayer and I are going to have some fun with this. Oh, yes. Another 500-some words just noodling now, getting things done and set up. I just have to keep writing, and something new pops in. I know how he died, now. And I didn't know about the baby. Ooo, interesting. Bwahaha.

I liked WordPerfect during the DOS years. I never recoverd from the blow that was the first Windows WP. I gave in and took Lotus AmiPro.

I've been a Word Perfect fan since I first used in in the mid-80s, DOS version then. I switched to the Windows version some time later. Still my word processor of preference. So many things are easier to do with WP than with Word.

Yup. One thing I love about WP. Much easier fine control of formatting. Easier to make and modify tables, outlines, lots of other things. And I really miss Reveal Codes in Word when I'm trying to figure out why it wants to do something one way and I want to do it some other way. Word is fine as long as you only want to do things its way. Woe betide you if you want to do things your own way!

Y'know, I never cared much for WP. I wasn't a big fan of Word at first, either. I preferred PC-Write. *sigh*
