Day Off, Dead Car.
Clover's husband the professional mechanic assures us that from the symptoms, the car's engine turning over and then dying a second or two later, is due to some mangling from the auto body place putting the ignition/security in/back in, and is the security setting that prevents someone from driving it with the wrong key going utterly caramelnutcluster paranoid and not letting anyone drive it, because it doesn't think it's the right key.
So my plans for grocery shopping are foiled. We'll walk to the closer grocery store shortly.

What gets me is the friggin keys are like $100, and they will tell you that you can't get ordinary keys, but when the car was repossessed because fuckwit didn't make the payments they used a regular cut key to take the car. (I still don't know how the fuck they do that.) That was one expensive spare key though, $1500 total by the time it was all said and done. Hence why I put my SS into a seperate account, if he doesn't pay it, I don't transfer my SS over to our joint account. Suddenly, the car payment gets done. **screams** **kicks him repeatedly**
They also had to move his car, somehow de activating the alarm and stuff to get to my car. I realize this is thier profession, but damn, how do they do this, and I wonder how many of them are car thieves on the side? What really pissed me was we didn't even get a mail notice until a week later, just got up and the car wasn't there...it was the police who infomred us it was repossessed. It was only one month behind, even the woman at the credit union said she didn't know why it got turned it for repo.
I miss cars without all the computer crap in them...my first car might have been a rolling auto lesson, but damn it, I could fix myself without the need for a $100 computer diagnostic.
What kind of car you guys have again?
