okay.. i have *no* idea why i clicked that (the scotch might have had something to do with it), but my horror over the source material was overcome when i hit this:

but only because i actually pass signs pointing to Waco 95% of the times i leave my house.
oh.. and you came up in conversation over breakfast this morning, as the Exception to Most of My Rules Poster Child. (you're just cool like that.) but writing groups and proofreaders and other such things came up (mostly, my roomie's need for these things... along with her need for a kick in the bum), and your name and your writing group were mentioned as examples... she wondered, vaguely (as she is wont to do), if you'd be willing to look over anything for her. i encouraged her at least pinging you in general... but she is slow and drags her feet and avoids progress like it isn't even funny... so i am pinging you. if you think you might have a moment to "remind" her that you exist (writing-wise, i think you might be a good example for her), she can be found at texasmeercat, and she needs all the help she can get. (the ideas are good... but too much time in Just Fanfic has stunted some of her skills.)
