I should have gotten pictures of all of the old place before we left. There are memories there.

It's easy to forget such things with all the moving frenzy.

But the memories are still memories, photos or no.

If we ever manage to get all the rooms in here tidy at once (unlikely), I want to take a new set of pictures to add to the gallery.

This place is arranged a bit differently than when we moved in.

Re-arranging is fun.

We brought a fair bit of furniture (well, a fair bit for a furnished flat), and moved a random wardrobe into a different room.

More rearranging needs to be done so I can set up my desk, which will give us two desks, two bookcases, two wooden boxes, two chairs, and a chest of drawers (just of furniture we /own/).

Randomly, we also own the freezer and microwave that's here, too.

Next flat is going to be unfurnished. (All we'll really need is a bed: my mother has a sofa and armchair waiting for us, since she just bought new ones.)

This one was mostly unfurnished. Stove, refrigerator, dishwasher. Those are pretty standard for a generally unfurnished apartment here. I have desks, bookshelves, bed, table, etc.

That's something that worries me, actually: although we have a freezer (this flat didn't have one), when we move I want a flat that has the 'white goods' (fridge, cooker, washing machine, etc), since we really couldn't afford to buy all of those.

A lot of the unfurnished flats here have nothing in them. :o/

I'm also thrilled to pieces that I now have long distance. Essentially, I have unlimited long distance. For $20/month. Yay me!!
