More randomness will eventually follow, possibly followed by something coherent, but in the interim, I need to think about that crazy little thing called sleep.

as i refreshed the page, bringing up this entry, i was actually standing up to grab a soda and caught it from the corner of my eye. this led to my brain doing the "take it all in as a visual whole, then sort into words" thing. mostly accurate, with a few misreads on the first pass.
so, as i was halfway across my room this process happened:
"a comprehensive fairy program" which led to an image of a large man in cheap wings like you find that the dollar stores and too much glittery eyeshadow saying (with a snap and a twist of his hips) oh, honey, we cover *all* the points of fairy-ness".
as i got to the end of the whole phrase and realized what it was actually refering to, my brain put this together with the idea already there to present me with an image of him standing at the entrance to your LJ with a clipboard, facing a line of people standing behind a velvet rope hoping to get in.
my reaction when i realized what my brain had done?
"dude! i want one!"
with my brain, who *needs* cable?

right after that, i read the post about that incident. my mind totally insisted on seeing him dressed that way, standing next to you at the register.
when it got to the end, the image of you two walking out, with his wings merrily facing the cashier, i lost it. especially since (though i forgot to mention it) the image orignally included a tutu.
with that image in mind, the whole post was *much* funnier even than it normally would have been, and that's saying something because it was up there on the amusement factor all on its own.

I'm glad to see our minds are working on the same twisted track, just as they should be.
For your edification and amusement, please behold one Figment (gallery should be friends-locked)
