There is a real-live Mary Sue at my workplace. She doesn't look like a Sue, because she's just an ordinary woman, and very quiet, but her actual name is Mary Sue.

I am far too amused by this, because while it's supposedly a reasonably common and mundane name, I'd never actually met a real Mary Sue before.

No currently known Awesome Cosmic Powers -- but she could just be undercover. No main characters have fallen in love with her at this time. Also, hair and eye color are unremarkable, and she has the expected appearance of a thin-to-average woman of fifty or so.
