Though my Inner Herald is also compelled to note that this design violates the metal-on-metal rule.

That's from memory, mind you; I haven't done book heraldry in a Very Long Time, and most of that was SCA heraldry (which follows slightly different conventions than British heraldry, which follows slightly different conventions than Continental heraldry, which follows slightly different conventions than *Eastern* European heraldry). So I may be mistaken in some details, and there are certainly more precise ways to describe the layout of the reams.

And I can't help with the motto, as I have next to no Latin.
