Trying to work on my resume. Failing miserably because of problems with Word on this computer. Perhaps I'll try a different computer. It refuses to save. Damn. Fortunately, I had it saved in Notepad originally. Word was a good little program and took my html formatting of my resume and applied it. Whee! happy. Notepad saves just fine.

Darkside has an hour off next hour, and I intend to hang out with him. He mentions that Professor Sheldon assigns nasty and evil projects that are one step down from the senior project in difficulty. He feels sorry for me, he said, while snickering.

Evidently he's had Sheldon before.

I suppose I need to make myself a schedule for the household again. Every semester, I post the schedules of everyone who's got a regular schedule on the freezer door, ensuring that everyone who's at that eye level will be able to see who's doing what where when. The "why" is left up to the creativity of the user.

Damn. If I had a car, I could be making $13 an hour, starting, with my current customer service experience.

Oh, it's not *my* hard drive I'm worried about. I'm learning linux now; with the way my roommate feels about Linux, she'll probably turn into a linux geek and administrate our home LAN, given enough time. The school's computers, on the other hand, are the ones that are complete bitches. They are Microsoft's bitches.

All my journal updates today are likely to be from school, because the home LAN's internet server died last night... *sigh*
