... does anyone have a GOOD customer service number for HSBC Auto Finance? I was just on hold for half an hour and then hung up on. I am fed up with this to the point of tears.

They have been calling at hours that are incompatible with my schedule. Most of the numbers that come up on the goddamn caller ID, when called, get a bogus "All circuits are busy" response when called back. I have not yet been able to get to the phone in time to actually talk to a human.

I evidently need an account number to get my number out of their goddamn system. The right account number to call up the record to get my phone number out.

I was going to go in to work for an extra shift today, but that's not happening after this.

Can't help with HSBC...have you tried calling some of the customer service numbers on their website and just hitting zero, zero, zero?

And this website might help with future, similar, frustrations:

A quick search didn't result in any phone numbers, but Automotive Digest says:

HSBC Auto Finance
5855 Copley Drive
San Diego CA 92111

Contact:
Leslie Lehberg
leslie.h.lehberg@household.com

It doesn't say who Ms. (Mr.?) Lehberg is, but perhaps this will help.

Also, Household (the parent company) apparently has pissed off a number of people for what they call "predatory practices". So I'm not surprised that they're hard to get hold of.
