95% packet loss? Unacceptable. 5-20% packet loss? In this context, very good.

Connection repaired as of about 5-ish this morning. Coincidentally, I fell WHAM asleep at about that point. And as I promised, at some point I will look like my mental image of myself. No clue when, and it'll take a while, but I will.

Which reminds us of the bad, bad joke about the hikers. There was this bird sitting on the corner of a fence they passed by, and one of the hikers predicted that they'd see another on an airplane. Sure enough, they did. The rest of the hikers were amazed and wanted to know how she'd known this.

... um ... any packet loss is pretty crappy. Even over my cellphone's internet connection my packet loss is below 1% IIRC.
