"Go away, Dari," Nita muttered from underneath a pile of pillows. She looked paler than usual, and sounded dreadfully out-of-sorts. In fact...

"What's the matter, Neets? You on the--"

"Shut up!" A glow filled Nita's eyes, an expression Dairine had seen many times before in the course of their wizardries together, but never before aimed at her.

"You! The engenderer of cramps! The understocker of ibuprofen! The hider of tampons! The chiller of bath water! The eater of my chocolate!"

Dairine realized Who was looking out of her own eyes to taunt her sister, and hastily backed down.

And, if this little bit of fic is any good, it's Proof that Some Good Can Come of Cramps. I was about to settle down and go back to sleep after taking some ibuprofen, but Nita was howling "The engenderer of cramps! The hider of tampons! The eater of my chocolate!" too loud in my head for me to actually succeed in sleeping. Figured I'd better get it out of my head while I still remembered it.

I am so vastly amused by that new epithet for the Lone Power that I have been croaking "The eater of my chocolate!" to myself at random intervals since posting. Really, the drabble's a little long for the moment I wanted to capture.
