Discussed with Votania the essential differences between cryochambers and greenhouses. Jungle Jim's Playland is a cryochamber. The Temple is a greenhouse. 'Nuff said.

Also discussed, again, the difference between having a complete inconsiderate ass-bastard in love with one vs. a gentleman. Discussed, at some length, the essential differences between Votania's most recent husband and certain parties who stayed with us in the past, and certain parties who hang out now.

Discussed the differences between friend and mother, and how one of the first should not try to be one of the second.

Discussed how I needed a full year after Shawn's general trauma to recover enough to even think about going back to school.

marxdarx went into cryofreeze when Votania left the state. He's just started to thaw.

Growth is good, but best to do it just at your own pace, not dragged kicking and screaming.

I have yet to see what all the repercussions of my own hasty introduction to certain things will ultimately be.

Despite my own trepidation of your words to potentially make things worse, things got better. Thank you for doing what I couldn't. I do have a hard time talking 'real' with Votania, but I'm working on that. I won't just NOT tell her what's bugging me, that would make things worse. Anyway now that I can control my emotional state better, times should be a bit easier to handle.
