So. What does one name a chrome-colored Mix Stick? Keep in mind that the name Loony Stick has already been taken by another USB storage device. It hasn't gendered itself, though.

This is why I invested in cases for my iPods. The first one was polycarbonate, so you could still see the shiny, but my newer iPod has a rubberish case that /glows in the dark/.

I think that glowing in the dark beats shiny, but that's just my personal opinion.

With this model player, which I picked for price and expandability (128mb onboard, up to 1g in SD card expansion), vs. the other player of the same price at the same place which had no expansion capability) my model choices were as follows:

Note that all of those choices were very pink.

I've just realised that the controls make a Mickey Mouse silhouette. (And people slag Apple for form over fuction?)

The obvious name then is 'the mouse', or perhaps 'the shiny mouse'?

It will surely amuse you to know that I bought pink batteries yesterday. (The color pink is becoming iconic for breast cancer. I wonder if the corresponding color blue can be mapped to prostate cancer in the same way.)

I grew up with my sister having gerbils, so naming it any kind of mouse is not appealing at all to me. Snake Food, maybe. But Old Bean fits it better.

For some reason, I can't help but think that pink batteries should be used for sex toys. It almost sounds like a euphemism ('damnit, I can't get off using this until I pick up some more pink batteries').

I have some perfectly good (if old) batteries about that I will not use for sex toys, not even the one it fits, because they were with the lightsabre, and that would just be Wrong.

My Nano is black, but I have it in a pink leather case. Black and pink is a combination that amuses me.
