Public, Private, Friends-only

Playing with Java and learning UML leads me to want to mark my friends-only posts in the following way: #. This is the UML symbol for Protected (+ and - being public and private).

I may wind up labeling my friends and filtered friends posts like so:

# = all;
# = < username >, < username >, < username >;
# = you;

I got a laugh out of it when I realized that this was the reason why I was thinking of that symbol...

Heh. Code as language -- it's evolving. I find I tend to use ! as a negation in my mental processes.

It's amusing to find oneself thinking in some textonly ways. I think audibly, mostly, an inner monolog/dialog. When I think of music, I mostly hear snips from it. Some people I know have photo clips attached; some don't. Your photoclip is your default picture.

It's entirely natural for me to think in ways that can't be expressed by my voice, but it feels weird when I go to try and share some of those things with other people. I can't show exactly how it is without recourse to multimedia, and even then, it's not exact.

...Though occasionally I am able to do line-sketches of people without their presence that look exactly like them... that's a plus. I'm working on mastering Darkside's appearance.

I'm mostly a visual thinker, and do think a lot in text. So that doesn't surprise me. It does surprise me when I get non-visual links, like smell.

Smell doesn't surprise me half as much, mostly because I've been raised by a father who was conscious of scents. But that's a memory I should start working on, my scent-memory, more.

I use "/" to indicate an ending of a special state;

I use "!" to negate;
