Little bits of happiness!

A meme I can get behind: when you see this, post some Shakespeare (or if you've had enough of that already, your favorite poet).

Benedick:
That a woman conceived me, I thank her; that she brought me up,
I likewise give her most humble thanks: but that I will have
a recheat winded in my forehead, or hang my bugle in an invisible
baldrick, all women shall pardon me: Because, I will not do them
the wrong to mistrust any, I will do myself the right to trust
none; and the fine is (for the which I may go the finer,) I will
live a bachelor.
Much Ado About Nothing, I i.

I went and changed the penny collection to something far more useful. Hooray nicely rolled pennies!
(6:19pm)

One thing I used to do: keep a change purse, three-compartment. Pennies in one, larger change in another, and exact bus fare in the third. Phoenix busses take pennies, and it's an excellent way of shedding them five to ten at a time.

I was doing a systems replacement for a banks teller line last week, and had to wait for an hour while the third teller was cashing in coins. A woman apparently emptied her piggybank, and decided to deposit it....she had BRICKS of pennies(A brick is 5 $5 trays of pennys I believe, $25) and trays of other coinage. All total she had $384 in change to cash in.

Woo, go coin-lady! And go teller, too. When my sister took in $50 or so in change, the teller dumped it all in a plastic bag and said they'd mail it to the main office for counting.

She had it just about all rolled too.

And per today's mail, the FlyBabies are taking credit for over $10,000 of change, if I'm doing my decimals right.

DON PEDRO
Well, as time shall try: 'In time the savage bull
doth bear the yoke.'

BENEDICK
The savage bull may; but if ever the sensible
Benedick bear it, pluck off the bull's horns and set
them in my forehead: and let me be vilely painted,
and in such great letters as they write 'Here is
good horse to hire,' let them signify under my sign
'Here you may see Benedick the married man.'

Don Pedro/Benedick? *ducks* Yeah, I love Beatrice/Benedick. Especially in the Branaugh movie, but even apart from that. For one thing, she's not nearly pretty enough.

You have read the slash trilogy based around this play, right?

HP/SS slash series. Starts with "Too Wise to Woo Peaceably", then "Look Pale With Love", and finally, "A Kind of Merry War". The middle one is kinda sad.

sigh... Apparently the sequels aren't at that link anymore, though. Um.... Try "Look Pale" and "Merry War".
