That's a wrap

got the pizza put away in the kitchen. The rest of the mess? Morning. Got my clothes picked out; ready to go. Grab my disks, my books, my taxes, my pocket stuff; my unfinished English essay. Breakfast, lunch, and then dinner for work. A full day; better grab decongestants for the headache I know I'll be crying about.

I want to make myself some more full-circle skirts, some nifty clothes. For working, I need to find some decent white mens' shirts, the button-down kind, to be worn with white tank tops underneath. I cross-dress casually, inadvertently.

I think I will make a stab at dinner tomorrow too. I should cook more often. I do so well at it when I do try; I'm just so often tired.

Men's shirts are much comfier. And long enough in the arm for me, which is a big deal.

Today I'm all girled up, because none of my guy-type clothes were clean. There are rewards to this. I had the dress on (grey knit tank dress, fitted, with jacket) and was pushing up the window to let in the nice weather. Silmarian walked in and spontaneously said, "You are SO beautiful." Purrrrr.

My favorite shirt is a shirt of my dad's, black, button-down, all nice and soft, perfect for cleavage display.

Treasure them while they last. My dad shirts are pretty much all gone now, 7 years after I left home.

I only have the one shirt of my father's, the nice cozy black one. He let me wear it because he had no use for it at the time, then got a little grumped that I wasn't giving it back... but it's mine, now.

I intend to go on a shopping raid for good shirts. Living here, I've been so conditioned into what are "girl clothes" and what aren't, I didn't think to look in the mens' section for the kind of shirts I need...
