In the semi-expected fashion of saying the line, then looking expectant, then demanding the re-enactment.

I don't get it.

Proof that my mind doesn't make sense to many people. This is a note for a moment in this November's planned novel; it popped nearly full-fledged into my brain this morning and I had to get the essence of it written down before I zoomed off to work, but without violating the National Novel-Writing Month terms and actually writing the scene down before November starts.

This refers to a point in my work-history, when my co-worker Rev. Not-So-Nice Supervisor wanted (demanded?) that I prove to him that magic does exist (he's an eternal skeptic) by doing something that could only be caused by magic. His requested magical happening was for him to poop squirrel heads. (WTF??) It was a dreadfully hilarious moment (emphasis on the "dreadfully" there) and I think a variation on this will provide all the potty-type humor that this novel needs, and then some.

I should see that movie sometime. I never bothered because I have such mixed responses to his work, but the IMDB entry looks good.
