Work thinks that hcolleen and I are a couple. Like, you know, together. No one has mentioned this, though, so I can't laugh at them and disabuse them of the notion. (I have rainbow stickers on my car, and a female roommate, a roommate who I brought to the company holiday party. And I sometimes wear a rainbow ring on a random ring finger. They so think we're dykes, but they're only 1/4 right.)

I start moonlighting. Books. Doing funky things involving Amazon with books. Whee!

I like to joke that between my only female housemate and myself we have a whole lesbian. This is probably untrue, we have more like 2/3 of a lesbian and one and a bit straight girls, but that doesn't roll off the tongue as well.

My brother's best friend at high school is a lesbian, and the rumor mill thinks they're together. I am vastly amused.

Sort of, yeah.

There was a glamourbombing "let's see who we're local to" event, and that led me to meet easalle. She had these friends, and there was this convoluted thing where one of them thought that picking on insert-easily-wound-up-internet-group-of-your-choice was hysterically funny, and I thought it was appalling and the woman was a fucking troll and a loser and a luser, and I said as much, and then she started trash-talking me (behind my back, because I wasn't having anything more to do with her) and got this one dude in on the action. I had thought we were cool with each other, so it surprised me when he randomly made personal attacks at me. The dude and I subsequently sort of made peace with each other when a crisis went all crisis-y, but the vast majority of the peace includes the fact that he lives in an alternate universe. It's his aunt who's the one selling random books on Amazon.

Some more fun ideas: have her show up cross-dressed (and possibly with other adjustments to make her appearance as masculine as possible). If/when someone remarks on it, answer something such as "Oh, yes. He's very convincing." to leave them unsure on which occasion she was cross-dressing. :-)
