Yeah, car bodies are not cheap to repair. I'll see if I can dig up what it cost to repair my car when that kid on a bike hit me last summer. I think it was in the range of 2k, but don't quote me.

Oh, it is. I get to pay the $500 deductible. That is not so bad compared to the full cost.

If I were paying for the whole thing myself, I'd have my alignment fixed and then have the rest sanded down & painted over.
