I have survived the morning. Does a series of just fine days interspersed with not fine days still count as under control? I still made it to work.

Is that "not walk away from" as in "stay close to", or as in "run away from"? :-)

As in "need to be carried away from", for reasons involving physical incapacity to walk and getting worse from there.
