Wearing the bloody brace on my ankle. Wore it all last night, and now to work today.
The good part: my ankle doesn't ache. (My ankle has been twisted too many times, and
the ligaments down there now don't especially mind if I bend the ankle in sideways.
They bitch about it afterwards, but they don't object to it at the time. So I do it
without noticing that I'm doing it. To end this trend, I wear the brace.)

Posted Craigslist ad for the company. This was because Snarky Lady asked me where
"people my age" tend to "hang out". I thought of the women's center, then realized I
spend more time online. That led me to Craigslist. Therefore, ad.

I don't seem to be accomplishing much more today. Time to check one last time with
the office about the Craigslist ad, then blow this popsicle stand. Despite coming in
late.

Ooo, your ankle too? I've twisted both of mine so many times that I feel every freaking weather change, have to watch my steps v.e.r.y carefully when walking across uneven ground, have been known to go down to the ground in .3 seconds because one or both ankles went sideways and I kept trying to walk forward, etc. Oh yeah, fuuuun.

One particular occasion saw me falling down three concrete steps (thankfully most of my upper body landed on my laundry basket). My dad couldn't understand why I took off work for a week since he went to work with a broken big toe. Grrrr! OK, Dad, let's look at anatomy, shall we? Big toe = small part of foot, on which you don't absolutely, have to put all of your weight. Ankle = major joint before the foot on which you will be putting a great deal of weight.
