Take maple syrup, the real shit. Nothing else will do. Add vodka. Mix.

It tastes good and smooth going down, but evidently destroys cell membranes coming up.

At some point, I shall have to make some real maple mead, with the official mead-making techniques, but meanwhile, this is some nice strong stuff.

Mmmm.

Next up to try: Mixing maple mead with a whipped combination of whipped topping and vanilla ice cream. Maple ambrosia, mmmm!

I've got a brewers kit here. After I bottle the cyser (which I should probably just dump, at this point), maybe I'll try making some maple mead. It sounds very tasty.

It's not so much that, as there's something she does every 4th of July weekend. I've seen her at several local cons, so it's not that she's impossible to get...just that she's impossible for US to get.

This year will be interesting.. it'll the first year we're not conflicing with the Winnipeg fuckFolk Fest. There's quite a few locals who haven't come to CONvergence yet because of the WFF. I'm hoping we'll get boosted up over 2000 people this year (which is looking pretty doable.. if we grow at the same rate as last year, we'll hit about 1800.)
